Grand Volant Parent / Child

During Jours [et nuits] de cirque(s), take off side by side and rise into the air together. The flying trapeze becomes a family experience to share, for the length of the festival.

For one hour, a parent and a child discover the flying trapeze outdoors, guided by the CIAM team. Safe in a harness and above a safety net, young and old learn to tame the height, to launch, to fly. A moment as thrilling as it is playful, to live together.

For one hour, children will get a taste of the joys of circus arts and discover disciplines such as object balancing, juggling, and trapeze.

Standard ticket: €10 | Solidarity tickets: €12 and €15

Solidarity rate: Circus workshops cost more to run than the ticket revenue they generate. However, we are committed to keeping them accessible. The solidarity ticket was created for those who wish to support this approach.

Visitors not taking part in the workshops do not need a ticket.

In this creative workshop, animals are celebrating in the pine grove! Using pine cones collected at the CIAM, children can paint and decorate them to recreate small or large forest animals.

The Centre International des Arts en Mouvement runs circus arts discovery workshops. This workshop is designed for children aged 4 to 6, accompanied by a parent, for an acrobatic moment together!

Parent-child workshop: 30 minutes of workshop in a duo (1 child aged 4 to 6 with 1 parent) to share together the joys of discovering circus as a family.

One ticket includes a place for one adult AND one child.

What does the circus of your dreams look like? Colourful big tops, artists flying through the air, imaginary animals, quirky costumes… Everyone gets to invent their own circus!

In this workshop, Anne-Cécile, CIAM’s cultural mediator, invites children to imagine their own circus, bring it to life with colour and create a piece of artwork they can take home with them.

Two activities are offered depending on the children’s age:

• Ages 4–6: create a small artwork using cutting, colouring and collage.
• Ages 7–10: use paint to imagine and create their own circus world on canvas.

Price: €6

Parents are welcome: no ticket is required for accompanying adults who are not taking part in the workshop.

Hidden clues, puzzles to solve and a treasure to find: set off on an adventure through the CIAM! Working as a team, children will need to use their observation skills, logic and cooperation to progress from one stage to the next and uncover the precious treasure.

Two different routes are offered depending on the participants’ age:

• At 12:30 pm: ages 11–15

• At 2:45 pm: ages 7–10

👉 When booking, please select the session corresponding to your child’s age group.

Also on the Festival programme:

• Family-friendly shows including the Cabaret and Hourvari by Compagnie Rasposo, among many other circus gems to discover throughout the Festival!

For a moment, children and grown-ups come together to juggle: balls, scarves and rings pass from hand to hand in a big open circle, no experience required.

As part of the Jours [et nuits] de cirque(s) Festival, the CIAM - Centre International des Arts en Mouvement invites you to this collective juggling session, simple and joyful, to share with family or friends.

Sessions: Saturday 26 September at 1pm and 3.30pm, Sunday 27 September at 1pm.

One ticket per person.

Venez découvrir les sensations uniques du grand trapèze volant ! Grimpez sur la plateforme, élancez-vous dans le vide, traversez les airs et tentez un cochon pendu. Une expérience inoubliable, encadrée dans des conditions de sécurité optimales.

Les séances sont des baptêmes individuels d'une durée de 30 minutes.

In this workshop, children discover cyanotype, an early photographic process that creates images by combining light and photosensitive solutions. Using plants, shapes, and various objects, each participant composes their own creation before revealing it in the sunlight.

👉 Self-guided workshop: one ticket per child. Parents are welcome to enjoy the CIAM facilities or wait nearby, but do not take part in the workshop.

What if, during the Festival, parents and children each had their own experience before meeting up again to share what they had discovered?

While adults attend Biographies by Cie Ea Eo, children aged 4 to 12 are welcomed to a creative workshop designed especially for them.

Have you ever imagined what your parents were like when they were children? What did they play? What did they dream about? And above all… what does it mean to grow up?

Through drawing and small imagination games, children explore the adult world, question its habits and come up with their own ideas about what it means to “be grown-up”.

A workshop to look at adults through children’s eyes, gain a fresh perspective… and use plenty of crayons!

At the end of the show and the workshop, children and adults come together again: a chance to share and talk about what each of them experienced.

Anne-Cécile, CIAM’s cultural mediator, leads a series of workshops for children and teenagers, inviting them to explore, imagine and create around the world of the Festival.
